The San Francisco Giants and Angel Pagan received the worst news possible regarding his hamstring injury. Pagan is expected to miss up to 12 weeks after learning that his hamstring tendon behind his left knee will require surgery. That means Pagan will miss almost the entire remainder of the regular season and could be lost for the year if any complications pop up. Twelve weeks from Tuesday is Sept. 17, when the Giants have 12 games remaining. There seems to be some optimism by the Giants that Pagan could be back sooner than the reported 12 weeks, but the bottom line is that the Giants will be without Pagan for a long time. Fantasy owners that have Pagan on their bench know what to do.
