Matt Kemp Lands On 15-Day DL

Matt Kemp was placed back on the 15-day disabled list on Monday with  joint inflammation in his left shoulder. Dodgers manager, Don Mattingly said that this is a separate issue from the shoulder surgery Kemp had in the offseason. The frustration for fantasy owners that have Kemp has reached a new high with this latest setback. Just when he started showing signs of progress at the plate last week by hitting home runs in back-to-back games, Kemp suffers this injury and at this point a return date is unknown. Kemp tried to take early batting practice on Monday before the Dodgers faced the Diamondbacks in Arizona, but he experienced the soreness in his shoulder and the Dodgers decided to place him on the disabled. For now, the Dodgers will move continue with Andre Ethier, Carl Crawford, and Yasiel Puig as their starting outfield.
