Allen Craig had to leave Wednesday's game in Cincinnati after spraining his left foot while attempting to round first base and will obviously not play in Thursday's series finale. Craig returned to St. Louis after the Cardinals thrilling 5-4 extra-inning victory and was seen wearing a walking boot and using crutches as he made his way through the clubhouse. Craig landed awkwardly on his left foot and stayed down on the infield and was tagged out on the play. He was able to walk off under his own and the Cardinals later diagnosed him with a sprained left foot. Craig's injury gave Matt Adams the opportunity to play and all he did was hit two home runs. The second solo shot was the game-winner in the 16th inning. In 212 at-bats, Adams has 11 home runs this year. He has legitimate power and with regular ABs, he is certainly worth owning in all formats down the stretch if Craig misses time.
