Juan Uribe hit three home runs in his first three at-bats Monday night against the Diamondbacks. Uribe homered for the first time since August 19, then added on two more for good measure. All three were solo shots, and he added a fourth RBI on an infield single. If you own Uribe and anticipated this type of production, please give me a call and help guide me through the final twenty days of the season to my first NL-Only league title. 21 Days And Counting......

Share

There are just 21 days remaining in the baseball season. Fantasy owners that find themselves currently  in the race or in the playoffs are watching each category and looking for any edge possible. For those fantasy owners that are in head-to-head formats are in playoff mode and like the saying goes - stick with what got you there. If your in a rotisserie format, the marathon that is the baseball season is now a sprint to the finish line. Evaluate each category and decide what the worst case scenerio is in that category. For example, if your trying to gain an extra point in the wins category, is it worth the gamble to risk your standing in the ERA category? Be careful not to over manage your roster and trust in what got you to this point. If you can fish for a starting pitcher that has a great match up then do it. The key is and always will be the injury bug, which is not something any of us can control. Good luck and just remember - 21 days and counting....
